Genocide Joe - the butcher of Gaza

Yesterday was April Fools day, but every day in the US we are forced to deal with the fools on Capitol Hill. And the greatest dunce of them all is the president of the United States, Joseph Robinette Biden, better known as Genocide Joe.

Genocide Joe was never the sharpest tool in the shed and today with his cognitive decline and symptoms of dementia, he has only become more of a space cadet. Idiot he may be, but he is a very useful idiot to the ruling class. He started his career saying in a 1974 interview that he was ready to “prostitute himself” for donor money. This is offensive to prostitutes who are exploited under the capitalist system, but Biden has never had a problem being offensive to the working class.

Just recently in an interview with Michelle Bryant of WNOV Milwaukee he said, “We returned neglected -- for example, you know, how many Black communities are in a situation where they're -- they come from a circumstance where they're in difficult -- they have difficulty, where families are in real trouble, where you have people who, you know, how many -- even those families that are really poor who don't have any books in the house, the kids don't hear a whole lot of conversation.” This was a return to one of his greatest racist hits from the campaign trail in 2019:

This was in answer to a question about reparations. Instead of talking about the issue, he decided to attack black parents. This seems like it was a follow up to his famous “Poor kids are just as talented and just as bright as white kids” comment from August of the same year.

Suffice it to say, Biden has always been a racist, classist fool. It is unfortunate for society that he has managed to fail upwards and is now president of the United States. Whether he is making the policy decisions or they are decided upon by his army of military industrial lobbyists matters very little. We know from Joe Biden’s record that if he were making the decisions, they would be the same as what the donor class told him to do anyway. And the decisions coming from the White House today are a complete endorsement of the genocide in Gaza. There can be no doubt about this, their actions and their words defend the genocide.

According to a March 6 report from the Washington Post, “Washington has approved more than 100 separate military sales to Israel since its invasion of Gaza, even as officials complain Israeli leaders have not done enough to protect civilians.” These weapons have been used to murder children indiscriminately as part of Israel’s genocidal campaign. And just yesterday it was reported that Genocide Joe is considering another $18 billion weapons transfer to Israel. This is in addition to a separate weapons transfer including 1,800 2,000 lbs bunker buster bombs. US Senator Bernie Sanders said of the transfer, “The US cannot beg Netanyahu to stop bombing civilians one day and the next send him thousands more 2,000 pound bombs that can level entire city blocks.” Bernie Sanders is also playing the role of the fool on the hill with this hypocritical statement as he is still shilling for citizens to vote for Genocide Joe and has yet to rescind his endorsement. But he is correct that 2,000 pound bombs have only one purpose - mass murder.

Biden’s regime and his supporters are all in on the genocide. Israel just deliberately targeted World Central Kitchen aid workers in their vehicles killing seven of them including an American. In February, Biden claimed “If you harm an American, we will respond.” But this only applies if it is in the interests of global capital and the US agenda. Israel will not be punished for murdering an American aid worker. Israel also bombed the Iranian consulate in Syria and carried out a massacre at Al Shifa hospital killing over 400 civilians. This was all after in late January the International Court of Justice ruled that Israel had an obligation under the Genocide Convention to: “immediately suspend its military operations in and against Gaza.” As well as:

desist from the commission of any and all acts within the scope of Article II of the Convention, in particular:
(a) killing members of the group;
(b) causing serious bodily or mental harm to the members of the group;
(c) deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part;

Israel has ignored international law and the United States has backed them up every step of the way. It is now an absolute absurdity to claim Biden is a lesser evil or harm reduction. Liberals screaming meaninglessly into the void “But Trump would be worse” have lost any sense of logical thought. What is worse than full support of genocide? Trump would support the genocide too, but that is no reason to vote for or to endorse Genocide Joe. At this rate, Gaza will be destroyed before Trump takes office. Over 1 million Gazans are starving and nearly the entire population has been displaced. There is barely a building in Gaza that hasn’t been bombed.

There can be no doubt that this is a genocide. Only those who in some sick manner want to defend their blue cult are claiming otherwise. Like their leader, they are fools to support this slaughter. There can be no excuse for the wholesale murder and deliberate starvation of an entire population. It is not too late to end this genocide, but the working class must unite around a revolutionary communist program and take action to end US complicity in the genocide. This will only come through class struggle, not through class collaboration. Anyone supporting Genocide Joe today should be ashamed of their foolishness.
