I suspect that's true; but if we had a real democracy, there might have been an even better candidate than Bernie; someone not afraid to stand up to the MICIMATT complex. Hell, maybe there wouldn't even be the overpowering Deep State that seems to scare him so much that he will repeat their lies.

That's true, Green Party and other parties running on socialist platforms would do far better with a real democracy.
