Remember back in 2021 when the Biden administration posted this? Well, it’s that time of year again. The good news is that the price has gone down from 2022, but not significantly. In 2021, when Biden saved us 16 cents, the cost was $59.50. In 2022, it rose to $69.68. Biden
Well, here we are in 2024. What’s the price now?
Straight from the Farm Bureau, we have reached a new record high for the 4th of July! The only good news is that cheese is cheaper now than it was in 2021, but that doesn’t make up for the losses in other categories.
This 4th of July, remember that the US was founded on capitalism, racism, patriarchy, and genocide. And it isn’t getting any better. It is consistently getting worse for the working class. Biden created a record high homeless population and the Supreme Court just ruled that homelessness is illegal. True independence will be gained when we overthrow this economic system, smashing the state, and replacing it with a workers’ government. That is what true liberation looks like.
