I wrote this article for Real Progressives outlining the reason why we are better off fighting for a national Medicare for All system rather than state-based. While the thought of achieving M4A state by state might be appealing, it is actually counter productive because of the barriers facing such a system. Only a very few states could manage it, and even then it would be a very tenuous system with a high likelihood of failure. Here’s the link!
