I was going to do a different movie on Palestine this week, but Killing Gaza was just opened up to view for free and after watching it last night, I decided to change this week’s movie. It’s not an easy documentary to watch since it’s the personal stories of those impacted by the war, but it’s important to see.
The film was created by Dan Cohen and Max Blumenthal and details the Israeli attack on Gaza in 2014. Chris Hedges reviews it in TruthDig, saying “Max Blumenthal and Dan Cohen’s powerful new film, ‘Killing Gaza,’ offers an unflinching and moving portrait of a people largely abandoned by the outside world, struggling to endure.”
It was previously only available on demand but is currently free. You can watch it at the link below. Make sure to turn on Closed Caption for the English (or other language) subtitles.
